DERMAL FILLERS
Hyaluronic dermal fillers have become the gold standard in stopping the aging face process and restoring a youthful look. They contain cross-linked hyaluronic acid in the form of a gel, which gives us the possibility of reshaping the face by filling in certain regions.
The aging process has its unique pattern on every face, so it is up to the physician to assess and contour the face precisely in the best possible way for the patient.
With dermal fillers, we can shape the face or remove some natural deformities we have, such as: asymmetry, signs of aging, sagging skin, and loss of shape in certain parts of the face. Dermal fillers fill in fine and deep wrinkles, as well as replacing lost volume. It is possible to contour the whole face, so cheeks can be emphasized, the jawline can be enhanced, the corners of the lips can be lifted, or simply the lips can be enlarged. Hyaluronic acid affects regeneration and the formation of new collagen, an important component for fresh and healthy skin.
Hyaluronic fillers are used to treat:
• Nasolabial folds - from the nose to the lips
• Perioral wrinkles - smoker's wrinkles around the mouth
• Periorbital wrinkles - wrinkles on the outer side of the eyes
• Malar region - cheeks
• Temporal region
• Lips
The durability of dermal fillers is individual, typically lasting from 6 to 24 months, depending on the filler type and the application zone. Since they are gradually absorbed over time, they need to be renewed as desired.
What are the advantages of hyaluronic dermal fillers?
The biggest advantage of hyaluronic dermal fillers is that they are a natural material, composed of hyaluronic acid, which naturally occurs in our bodies.
The injection process is minimally painful. The skin is surface anaesthetized, and new-generation fillers also contain the anaesthetic lidocaine.
Fillers can be used for the entire face, as well as for the neck, décolleté, and hands.
If applied by an expert in optimal amounts, they do not endanger the mimicry or natural appearance of the face.
Procedure
After cleaning and disinfecting the skin of the face, if the client wishes, an anaesthetic cream is applied. Then, according to the rejuvenation plan, the filler is applied to certain regions, according to the pre-defined points that the physician knows well.
After application, no recovery time is required, and you can immediately return to your daily activities.
After application, redness, swelling, or slight bruising may occur on the skin, in cases where some of the tiny veins are hit during application. Hyaluronic acid retains water, so it is possible to wake up with slight swelling that quickly subsides.
Allergic reactions are extremely rare, and the most serious possible complication is vascular occlusion.
Dermal filler treatment is generally intended for everyone. Whether you want to refresh your appearance, restore hydration to your skin, rejuvenate or correct certain asymmetries and irregularities. Candidates for dermal fillers are women and men who want to refresh their appearance through a safe method of rejuvenation.
BOTOX
The Botox we use for aesthetic purposes is botulinum toxin type A, produced from the Clostridium botulinum bacterium and synthesized in the form of purified protein. On the market, it is known under the names Vistabel or Bocouture.
It acts as a neuromodulator in the transmission of impulses through nerve receptors, thereby preventing muscle contraction. Muscles that are normally activated when we make facial expressions such as smiling, squinting, or frowning become less active or inactive, resulting in a reduction or complete disappearance of wrinkles on the face.
Botox effectively removes wrinkles on the forehead caused by frowning, as well as wrinkles between the eyes in the glabellar region (the region between the eyebrows), which is also the most commonly treated area of the face. Immediately following this, treatment for "crow's feet" (fine wrinkles around the eyes) follows.
Botox can be applied at the first signs of aging, thus achieving a preventive effect and preventing the deepening of existing wrinkles.
Indications for using Botox:
• Upper forehead (horizontal wrinkles)
• Glabellar area (frown lines between eyebrows)
• Crow's feet wrinkles around the eyes
• Wrinkles on the side of the nose (bunny lines)
• Treatment for bruxism (teeth grinding)
• Treatment for gummy smile (drooping of upper lip when gums are overly visible)
The effects of Botox last approximately 4 to 6 months, resulting in a fresh, younger-looking, more rested, and cheerful face.
What are the benefits of Botox?
Botox erases the tired look from your face. By the action of botulinum toxin on the mentioned parts of the face, the eyebrows are lifted, crow's feet are removed, and frowning is prevented.
Botulinum toxin has been in clinical use for more than 40 years, and there are numerous studies on the safety of long-term use. Possible side effects include mild pain, bruising, and redness at the injection site, and transient headaches. It should not be applied to areas where there is inflammation or in people allergic to any of the ingredients.
Procedure
The treatment lasts only about ten minutes and is practically painless. It is important to precisely identify the application sites. A small amount of Botox is applied with a thin needle into the muscle. The effect of Botox becomes visible after a few days. The frequency of repeat treatments is individual, but on average it can be repeated every six months. If you want to refresh your appearance and reduce wrinkles on your face or prevent the appearance of wrinkles, you are a candidate for Botox.
FACIAL REJUVENATION WITH YOUR OWN BLOOD PLASMA - PRGF TREATMENT
PRGF-ENDORET® (plasma rich in growth factors) is the most advanced system for obtaining plasma rich in growth factors.
This is a 100% biological method, a biocompatible technology that is applied in various fields, in sports medicine for the treatment of injuries, in orthopaedics, therapy of ulcers and burns, ophthalmology, maxillofacial surgery, aesthetic and dental medicine.
This is one of the best-documented procedures with clinical data for over 20 years, supported by more than 70 scientific papers.
Procedure
By centrifuging venous blood, the liquid part, plasma, is separated from the cellular part, erythrocytes, leukocytes, and other blood cells. The isolated plasma applied by injection into the skin has a pronounced effect on the migration, growth, and morphogenesis of cells.
A fibrin matrix is formed on the application region, with accelerated proliferation of new blood vessels and increased cellular migration. Therefore, the skin becomes better perfused, firmer, better hydrated, with reduced wrinkles and better tone. The skin is temporarily red after treatment, which subsides within a few hours.
The entire procedure takes about 45 minutes. It is recommended to have one treatment per month, repeated for three months.
PRGF is not recommended for patients with acute infection, coagulation disorders, malignant diseases, anaemia, pregnancy, and systemic corticosteroid therapy.
