Why Invisalign?

The Invisalign aligner system has many advantages. Every detail of this device is precisely worked out in the process of manufacturing, application, delivery, diagnostics and presentation. It is the aligner that is most comfortable for the patient and the brand that the patient likes. It is intended for adults, athletes, businessmen, teenagers and kids. They are designed for children and adults alike. There is no restriction on age group or anomalies. Adults get the smile they've always wanted without having to change their social life. Teenagers gain confidence as they watch the transformation of their smile during the most sensitive period of their growing up. Kids do interceptive therapy that prepares the place for permanent teeth.

INVISALIGN FIRST

Small smiles deserve more!

Invisalign First is intended for children with mixed dentition and a sufficient number of permanent teeth to retain the aligners. Cooperation is crucial, and in agreement with parents, we can straighten all permanent teeth and prepare space for the eruption of other permanent teeth. Today, every second child has significant irregularities within the dental arch, jaw, or face. Intervention during early mixed dentition can prevent future tooth extraction, create more space for permanent teeth, reduce the possibility of impacted teeth, correct irregularities such as underbite or crossbite, deep overbite, and overjet, and establish symmetry. Orthodontic treatment at a younger age during mixed dentition has great benefits and is a significant parental investment in a child’s future.

INVISALIGN TEEN

Because we want only the best for our patients, our teenagers can now enjoy their daily activities!

Teenagers discover their best and most beautiful smiles through this unique approach developed just for them, while enjoying a digital experience that motivates them by transforming their smile and boosting their self-confidence. Clinically proven, Invisalign® aligners and their treatment methods are effective for a very wide range of cases, from simple to more complex, in both mixed and permanent dentition. The teenage years are an ideal time for orthodontic therapy, during a period of intense growth and development, and dental problems should not be ignored as they can become more serious problems later in life. Allow your teenager to take responsibility for their smile, which is a valuable life skill. With parental supervision and a little reminder from both you and us, we achieve beautiful results, a wonderful digital experience, and a gentle transformation of their smile. This type of therapy is scientifically proven to increase self-confidence and motivate teenagers, with no issues when choosing food, maintaining oral hygiene, or needing urgent interventions, unlike conventional braces. It is a generally simpler solution. Such patients become diligent and responsible.

PROCESS Choosing Invisalign® aligners for the treatment of dental irregularities is an important dental and financial decision, so it is crucial to find the right orthodontist. At the first consultation, your orthodontist will conduct a thorough examination and tell you whether Invisalign® aligners are the right choice for you. You should bring or digitally submit your orthopantomogram no older than 6 months. The orthodontist will conduct a detailed examination of your teeth and, based on a scan of your upper and lower jaw and essential orthodontic diagnostics, create an individualized treatment plan. The program allows for precise determination of the time needed for bite correction and predefines all tooth movements by week. You will be able to see how your teeth will move over time and receive a projection of the final result. The virtual simulation of tooth movement is called Clean Check® where the patient can see the final result. You can even get a smile simulation on your photo.

After these consultations and agreements, it is necessary to complete the orthodontic diagnostics and initiate the process of making aligners, which takes up to 4 weeks.

Once the aligners are ready, you need to wear them 20–22 hours a day for the best results, removing them only for eating and brushing your teeth. As you wear each new set of aligners, your teeth will gently and precisely move according to the predefined plan. Your orthodontist may recommend changing the aligners every week (which are pre-made for you) and schedule several control appointments in advance. Everything, including movements, check-ups, and therapy progression, can be planned.

In addition to the aligners, auxiliary elements may be included in the treatment plan, such as elastics placed between the two jaws, which are changed daily throughout the therapy, buttons glued to the back teeth, attachments or white buttons on certain teeth that help tooth movement, and IPR (interproximal reduction of enamel) if necessary. Sometimes, in cases of severe anomalies, mini-screws may be required. These details are often not visible to the patient and are not typically discussed with them.

At every stage, you will be able to see your own progress and look forward to the final result.

RETENTION PHASE OF THERAPY

After the patient and the orthodontist are satisfied with the outcome of the therapy, the retention phase of the therapy follows.

After you have finished the therapy, it is recommended to wear a Vivera retainer. It is made of the same material as aligners and they are also completely adapted to your teeth. A fixed retainer in the lower jaw with Vivera retainers is often the choice, and the best is a cast titanium retainer made from your scanned and printed model. You wear and control the retainers all your life, and their duration depends on you, and a new retainer is usually done once a year.

In addition to being soft and comfortable to wear, transparent braces or aligners can be easily removed. This means that you can normally continue to do everything you have been doing, from brushing your teeth to enjoying your favorite food.

When participating in sports, you don’t have to worry about potential injuries, particularly from wires that could scratch your lips or gums. If the sport you play requires a protective mouthguard, simply remove the aligner and put on the necessary sports guard.

WHICH IS GOOD TO KNOW!

While wearing braces, it is recommended not to smoke, not to consume food and colored drinks. Only non-carbonated water may be drunk through the aligner, otherwise it will change color.

Cleaning the aligners is easy. Before going to bed, rinse them with water and/or clean them with a toothbrush and soap or a little toothpaste. You also get cleaning crystals in case the aligners become stained. To ensure better alignment of the aligners to your teeth, use rubber fitters provided by your orthodontist. When not wearing the aligners, store them in the designated case.

There are no gum injuries or pain.

The decision to wear Invisalign® aligners is simpler when you know that you can continue living your life normally during treatment, just as you want. You don’t have to worry about gum, lip, or cheek irritation, which can be caused by other braces, nor do you need to brush your teeth for longer than three minutes.

However, it’s important to remember that aligners must be worn almost all day, meaning you cannot skip wearing them during important events. They will be with you at meetings and business dinners, on school trips and vacations, and at some point, you might want to take a short break from them—but you need to be persistent and responsible, as you are paying for this.

There is no age limit for orthodontic therapy, so you can schedule your first orthodontic consultation whenever you feel ready.

Periodontitis, osteoporosis, and temporomandibular disorders in the acute phase are common in adult patients and are absolute contraindications for treatment with both aligners and braces. Teeth are moved using sophisticated computer algorithms developed in software that is improving every day. The system uses biological forces, and the appliance is aesthetically and hygienically satisfactory. Many aligner systems are being developed worldwide, and it is evident that this is the future of orthodontics. It is important to understand that clear aligner therapy is a technique, not a product.

Every orthodontic therapy must meet the criteria of aesthetics and function. It’s up to the patients to first choose their orthodontist, then the system.
